02Contact form

Prefer to write to us?

Leave your name and a WhatsApp or phone number. Email is optional, and the topic helps us pass your message to the right file. The message box is optional too: many people would rather explain on WhatsApp once we have replied.

We never share your details. No spam.

03Before you press send

What to put in your first message

Two lines are enough to start. These four details let us answer precisely the first time, because in South Sinai the same question can have two different answers depending on where you are and who owns the business.

  • Where. Sharm El Sheikh, Dahab, Nuweiba, Taba, El Tor or Saint Catherine. Sharm, Dahab and the Gulf of Aqaba tourism sector follow Presidential Decree 128/2022, in force since 1 April 2022: a non-Egyptian investment project there must be an Egyptian joint-stock company. El Tor, Saint Catherine and the rest of Sinai follow Law 14/2012, which requires at least 55% Egyptian ownership. For a plot in Nuweiba or Taba, the answer depends on the decree's maps, so give us the exact location.
  • Who. Each owner's and manager's nationality. GAFI files include security-inquiry forms for every foreign founder and manager, and a company with any non-Egyptian owner also files FDI reports with GAFI.
  • What stage. An idea, a company being set up, or a business already trading. If you already sell to consumers in the Sharm El Sheikh area, you have needed e-receipts since 1 November 2022 (ETA Decision 484/2022).
  • Any deadline. If a letter from the tax office prompted your message, the date you received it. The tax-dispute settlement scheme under Law 152/2026 is open until 31 December 2026.

These rules are stated as of October 2026. If you are not sure which of them applies to you, start with that question: it is often the most useful one to ask first. More on the local rules in our guide to company formation in Sharm and South Sinai.

There is no need to send passport copies or bank details in a first message. If your case needs documents, we tell you which ones and how to send them.

04After you write

What happens after you contact us

Whichever channel you use, the order is the same.

  1. 01

    We read it and reply

Every WhatsApp message, email and form reaches Office 314 and gets a reply the same day during office hours, in the language you wrote in. A message sent after 23:00 gets its answer from 09:00 the next morning.

    Same day, 09:00–23:00

  2. 02

    A few questions first

Where in South Sinai you work or plan to, the owners' nationalities and whether the company already exists. In Sinai those answers decide which rules apply, so they come before any estimate.

    First reply

  3. 03

    You choose how to continue

A meeting at Office 314, a phone or video call, or a written estimate for the work. Nothing starts until you have agreed the scope.

    When the case is clear

The same-day reply is our answer to you. How long the work itself takes depends on the authorities involved, such as GAFI or the security approvals some Sinai files need, and we say so plainly in the first conversation.

06Fraud notice and privacy

Payments, your details and messages in our name

We never ask you to pay into a personal account. Every payment receives an official receipt. If in doubt, call us on +20 10 3349 3011.

How to check a message is really from us. The contact details on this page are the ones we use: WhatsApp and calls on +20 10 3349 3011, a second line on +20 12 8449 9230, and email from info@eskander-gerges.com. If someone contacts you in our name from anywhere else, or asks you to pay before you have agreed the scope of the work with us, call the office before you reply.

Promises the rules do not allow. Be wary of anyone in Sharm who offers you:

  • Freehold land as a foreigner. Under Decree 128/2022, land and buildings in Sharm El Sheikh and Dahab may be owned only by Egyptians or wholly Egyptian-owned entities.
  • A company in one day. GAFI's one-working-day figure is for one-person and joint-stock companies incorporated in person at its service centres. Practitioners report one to two weeks once the documents are ready.
  • A guaranteed residence permit. The authorities decide. No office can guarantee the outcome, and that includes ours.

Your details. The form asks for your name and a phone or WhatsApp number; email is optional. We use them to answer your enquiry and, if you decide to go ahead, to prepare your file. Our privacy policy explains how we store and protect them.

07FAQ

Contacting the office: questions

Do I need an appointment to visit Office 314?

You can come during opening hours, every day from 09:00 to 23:00. A short WhatsApp message to +20 10 3349 3011 before you leave lets us make sure the right person is free and tells us what to prepare. For a longer meeting about a new company or a tax file, we agree a time in advance.

Which languages can I use?

Arabic, English, Italian or Russian, on WhatsApp, by phone, by email or at the office. Write in the language you think in. Egyptian terms such as the tax card (البطاقة الضريبية), the Commercial Registry or the ETA are explained the first time they come up, so you know which office or document we mean.

How quickly will you reply?

The same day during office hours: we are open every day from 09:00 to 23:00, Sharm El Sheikh time, and usually reply on WhatsApp. A message sent after 23:00 gets its answer from 09:00 the next morning. How long the work itself takes depends on the authorities involved, and we tell you that plainly.

Can you help if I am not in Sharm El Sheikh yet?

Yes. A first answer does not need a flight. Send your plan by WhatsApp or email, and we tell you which documents to prepare at home and which steps need you in Egypt. GAFI files include security-inquiry forms for every foreign founder and manager, and a foreign attorney-in-fact needs valid Egyptian residency.

How can I tell that a payment request really comes from you?

We never ask you to pay into a personal account, and every payment receives an official receipt. If a message asks you to pay somewhere else, or claims to come from us using a number not shown on this page, do not pay. Call us first on +20 10 3349 3011 and we will tell you whether it is genuine.

Planning a company in Sharm?

Not ready to write yet? The cost estimator gives you a first range for setting up in Sharm El Sheikh in about two minutes. Our reply then adjusts it to your case.
