05FAQ
Questions about the tools
Are the tools free, and do I need to sign up?
Yes, they are free, and no sign-up is needed. Every result appears on screen without your name, email or phone number. We ask for contact details only if you want something more: an itemised quote from the cost estimator, the annotated document list by email or WhatsApp, or a review of an open tax dispute.
How accurate is an Egypt tax calculator like this?
As accurate as the rules behind it, and those are dated. Government fees follow GAFI's published 2026 formulas, and tax rates the laws in force on 10 October 2026. Results are indicative: they do not price our fee or third-party costs such as translation, and your exact figures depend on your documents, margins and approvals.
How do you keep the rules up to date?
Each tool shows the date its rules were last verified, currently 10 October 2026. When the Official Gazette publishes a new tax law or GAFI issues a new guide, we update the rule and the date together. The tax calendar and the dispute checker, for example, already follow the second facilitation package (Laws 148–153/2026, in force since 29 July 2026).
Do the tools apply to Sharm El Sheikh, Dahab and El Tor?
Yes. The finder, the estimator and the document checklist ask where the company will operate. Sharm El Sheikh and Dahab fall under Decree 128/2022, where non-Egyptian projects must be joint-stock companies; El Tor and Saint Catherine follow Law 14/2012, with at least 55% Egyptian ownership. Plots near a zone border depend on the decree's maps.
Which languages are the tools in?
Five of the six are built in Arabic, English, Italian and Russian from one set of rules, so all four versions change together. The dispute settlement checker is in Arabic and English only, because its window closes on 31 December 2026. Consultations run in all four languages, with same-day replies from 09:00 to 23:00, every day.
